"Really great stay near Kendal and Windermere. Breakfast included with our booking with generous cooked offering, on top of cereal selection too. We had dinner one night which was very nice - good portions for price, some local choices on specials which was nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. You can take beers from the bar to your room before last orders should you prefer the comfort of the room/a nightcap. Probably the comfiest bed I’ve stayed in, in a hotel, for a very long time too."

"It was our first time staying at Glenholme, and it certainly won’t be our last. The landlady, Glen, gave us a very warm welcome and was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The room featured an excellent complimentary tray that was extremely generous, along with a lovely rainforest shower. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choices, and having private parking on-site was a huge plus. All in all, this is a wonderful bed and breakfast that we highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Kendal!"
