"Great little pub on the edge of the lakes. Staff were really friendly. I didn’t have breakfast as working early each day . The food menu had a good selection and the pizza was lovely ."

"I'd particularly like to thank Sharon at the reception desk > she was so helpful on arrival and very pleasant. The parking was easy and the room was spotless, even the breakfast was very nice. We actually stayed about 8 years ago as well. A place I will come back to if we were staying in the Lake District again."

"The hotel is excellent and has great facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff in a lovely environment. The restaurant is very nice and the kitchen produces an excellent breakfast. The gym facilities are very impressive for a hotel and also good staff working there too. Looking forward to our next visit."

"We had a great stay and the position of the hotel was great for us. you get what you pay for and i am not being critical but a bit of an update, renovate and decoration in some areas would help to improve the hotel, however this did not affect our stay in any way and the staff were great as was the restaurant."
