"The Address Akakura is THE ADDRESS you want to stay at when visiting Myoko. The hotel itself is located in the centre of where all the action is, you're surrounded by some of the best restaurants in Akakura, so many hidden gems. The Akakura Onsen ski resort is basically across the road, you could throw a rock & hit it nearly. Next door is Myoko Snowsports for all your ski hire & Uchida Ski Sports is across the road who will do overnight board waxing as well as any other servicing needs. The Address really is has everything you need for enjoying an amazing experience in beautiful snowy mountains of Japan. The hotel room we stayed in was perfect for our young family of 5 & the room was well looked after & maintained. The hotel staff here are all absolutely lovely, they're warm & very accommodating. Nothing was ever an issue & they went out of their way to make us feel right at home. The hotel owner is simply fantastic & by the end of our stay we felt more like family than we did just clients, it was actually really sad to say goodbye on our last day. I cannot recommend The Address Akakura more highly & I wish them all the very best. We will be back! Hopefully sooner rather than later...next season maybe! :D"
"Room was very clean, staff were very courteous and helpful. Onsen facility was very good. Dining options were limited. The cafe, food court, bakery were closed after 4pm, so dinner choices were limited to the expensive restaurants, unless you have transport and willing to travel to Myoko town."
"Family of 5, booked 2 rooms with ensuites. Everything was great from the amenities to the food and helpful staff. The Ryokan is around a 300-500m walk from the ski lifts however they offer a shuttle service every morning. You can also reserve the shuttle at other times to head out to restaurants etc."
"We had a great one night stay... the room was quiet as requested, hotel spotless and staff helpful. Good breakfast with all food choices well stocked. Hotel ideal for stop over and could also work for a longer stay. "
"A home away from home… Except with ample powder! The staff at the hotel tycoon went out of their way to provide an amazing experience, the vibe was just what we needed, and the in-house onsen was tranquil."
"I have never had a bad stay at this hotel. I’ve visited this hotel 3 times since July of 2025.
This last stay I had mistakenly hit the button for Single Smoking Room. When I discovered my mistake, the front desk staff quickly sorted me, and didn’t charge extra for a double room Non Smoking!
The restaurants here are also delicious!"
"We booked three reservations. Their cancellation policy is great and it allows us flexibility in our trip. We travelled from Sapporo and were not sure to arrive on the first day of our reservation. So the one day reservation plus a three day was perfect. Great Japanese breakfast. Book larger rooms if you have luggage. Staff very amazing and helpful."
