Our room was beautiful, a suite opening up onto the garden next to the waters edge. The room is beyond comfortable and quiet, a beautiful experience. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly, the hotel itself is quiet and spacious. The breakfast is delicious, we had one of the best Nasi Gorengs here. Overall, a highly recommended place to stay in George Town. "

"A stunning property. From the high ceilings, beautiful woodwork and antiques to the rooftop pool. A small and intimate hotel with lovely staff. Tucked down a small roadway, it's right in the heart of the action and secluded at the same time. Great location! When arriving by ferry, it isn't very far to walk on the map, however, the traffic and crowded sidewalks would make the wheelie bag treck very hard in the heat. We decided on a taxi. Taxi driver told us it's a standard 20 for any trip. There is a free bus you can take from the ferry (CAT bus) which does a loop of the city and stops at stop 7, one short block from the hotel.
