"I had the room at the front of the building. The room was spacious, with two huge windows, so plenty of light. The view is good at eye level and above. It was well decorated and pleasant. On the down side, it overlooks the main road so is rather noisy. During the day, it's a continuous drone, so it fades into the background. At night, earplugs! These are kindly provided. Be aware, the other rooms face onto a wall."

Top Kamala Hotel Reviews

Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Great property and services, breakfast was amazing"

Sunprime Kamala Beach

10/10 Excellent

"Perfect location right on the beach. Room was clean & tidy & comfortable. Breakfast was delicious & abundant, room service was delicious & reasonably priced. Always room around the pools, friendly staff & glorious location. Easy walk to 7/11, beach straight out of the site, great market through back entry M,T,T,F where the best food at the prices better than on the beach was abundant & plenty of souvenirs at reasonably prices for a haggle- along with fresh fruit, meat etc. Note that Kamala is a little ‘out of the way’ for exploring the rest of the island. For every tour I was first to be picked up & last dropped off, but that was ok for the location. Only thing was the laundry service felt very expensive. They are local laundries around so perhaps go there? But everything else was well priced, the mini mart was convenient for quick drinks etc & to break large notes! The area of the hotel I stayed in was on the third floor & there was no lift, so I would suggest mentioning if you have mobility issues… the stairs were tough after a long day snorkelling in the humidity! I was recommended to stay here by a work colleague & would recommend staying here to anyone else. Coffee in room is just instant & coffee cream not milk. It would have been beneficial to have a microwave but get preference would be for use of the restaurants etc. The doors are noisy also - rooms are quiet & don’t hear anything except every time someone open & closes the room door at anytime of the day or night"
