"The hotel was very tired looking, the hallway carpets were grubby, however the bedroom was clean and the staff were pleasant. We arrived for breakfast at about 8:40 and the eggs were already put away, no jam and the staff member was already putting stuff away. It was nice to have the use of the airport shuttle and the driver was very helpful."

"We were on the City view side. A hotel or condos building g across the street was having construction the whole time & our room was very noisy from it. As Leo the glass sliding door was our of line so it didn’t shut good."

"We had two rooms for 5 days. The first night the handicap bathroom flooded due to something going on with the shower. When the my buddy went to the front desk to let them know what happened, they gave him towels to clean up the water. Mind you, he is almost 70 and uses a cane to get around. They never offered another room and the shower was not fixed the entire time we were there, he had to use the other room to take a shower. "

"Great location; nicely appointed rooms; easy check in process; nice pool area; quiet air conditioning; lots of shops and restaurants to walk to; every room is either ocean front or ocean view. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again."

"Rooms were clean and the housekeeping did a great job. The property had multiple water refill stations and bottles in your room to use as well. I had a partial ocean view room that overlooked the pool area as well. Overall I had a great experience and would stay here again. Mahalo! "

"We enjoyed our one-night stay on property! The staff was awesome - front desk, valet, housekeeping, Swell bar & pool staff & DJ! The room was clean for the most part, with the exception of the two molded dresser drawers that were closest to the fridge. If we were staying multiple nights, I would have requested to change rooms because we typically unpack our luggage and use the drawers. But because of our quick stay we were ok it. The view of the ocean & diamond head was also amazing! The food, drinks & festive music at the pool side was extra fun! Cold li hing mui pineapple chunks to snack on was a perfect treat! Love the vibe at Swell! Mahalo nui for taking such good care of kanaka! "
