"Well-located gem in the middle of Boudha--minutes from Boudhanath Stupa, major monasteries, and plenty of shopping. The cheerful staff will strive to make your stay perfect. Rooms are clean and comfortable with nicely renovated bathrooms. Hotel Butsugen is a real find!"

"Lovely hotel with nice, big rooms beautiful pool/bar area, great gym and nice staff. It is also located in a nice area with walking distance to several places including buddha stoupa, without being a noisy area. Breakfast was okay, a little lacking for our taste BUT the omelet and the fruits were VERY nice. Again: staff was very helpful and nice! Some minus for: the floors in the room could have had a scrubbing down. Not a huge issue for us but still."

"The location is great. This is in the Boudha area of Kathmandu, so far fewer barking dogs and nightclubs at night like the Thamel tourist area. The rooms are comfortable with hot water, which is rare for Kathmandu hotels. Also a beautiful garden with good food. The staff is friendly and helpful and can ensure you'll enjoy your visit in Nepal."
