"Used Mons as a base to explore various attractions in the area. The hotel is a typical Ibis, our room was large and spacious, and the bar provided a selection of refreshments which, owing to the warm weather, were very welcome. Sheets not changed for 5 nights despite cut elbow blood on sheets on first night and 27-30 degree heat. If opened window before 10pm fumes from next door extractor fan enveloped room and no air con available just fan for 30 degree heat. "

"The room was a great stay for a family. We got the Luxe room with two bedrooms all on one level. Which was great for traveling with small children. I understand the next sized room has stairs and I wouldn’t have wanted that with a baby but the room we got was perfect. We also had an actual bathtub, again, something that makes life easier when traveling with toddlers. The rooms look a bit outdated but we had everything we needed, it was peaceful, clean, a wonderful breakfast, and close to the Hallerbos and Brussels by 35-45 minutes. Would definitely choose it again. And all for a more affordable price than staying in the city. "
