"Mountain View room is actually a view of the car park & buildings then in the distance you can see the mountain if the weathers clear!!! Great location, convenience store & coffee shop almost inside hotel so brilliant not to have to go looking around for supplies when tired. Room was a lovely surprise…… so minimalist & clean. "

"I highly recommend Grand Hyatt Jeju. The view from our room was completely stunning. We had three side-by-side floor-to-ceiling windows that gave us a view overlooking a large part of Jeju City. The hotel room was large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The hotel had a ton of dining options, and we really liked all the restaurants we visited. The rooftop pool and hot tubs were great! This hotel was a tremendous value for the money. If I visit Jeju again (which I hope to do), I would definitely stay here again."

"Room was very clean with daily linen change. Front desk staff were very helpful. Breakfast was just ok because menu items in the warmers were cold. "

"The only staff we met supposedly the owner. Not seen most of them time. When in need of help, need to call a number at the front desk but never pick up. Room is big but old. Almost got locked in toilet. There was a underwear left by the previous guest. There is simple breakfast though."

"Whistlelark was the perfect place to stay for 3 days due to its location to the market, close to the pick up place for tours, close to the airport ($7 by taxi), very clean rooms and friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend. We had the doble deluxe with sea view which was enjoyed from the small balcony."

"This hotel does not have a ramp at the entrance, so you will have to carry all your baggage up the tall stairs. Check in is at 1400. If you want to leave your luggage at the hotel until check in, your luggage will be out in the open in a designated area and not behind a counter. The room has thick steps separating the bedroom and bathroom. I tripped on these steps a few times. There is no conditioner in the bathroom, just bath soap and hand soap. I also sat on the carpeted floor a few times, and in the morning, I woke up with 3 bites, one on the back of my neck, and 2 on my midback. The staff was very polite and smiled at me and greeted me every time. The cleaning lady knocks on my door and asks if I would like a room cleaning. When I declined, she provided towels and water bottles. The smell of old cigarette smoke lingers in the carpet though. The hotel does seem a bit dated but maintained in good condition."

"The property is conveniently located and the room itself is spacious, which makes it a comfortable base for exploring Jeju City. However, do note that there’s a short flight of stairs before reaching the elevator; something to keep in mind if you’re travelling with large or heavy luggage. Service is very minimal; you’ll hardly see anyone on duty. Communication could also be improved. I didn’t receive check-in details beforehand despite a message being sent, and my follow-up went unanswered until much later, after I had already checked out. There’s no air-conditioning during the cooler season, so the room can get stuffy. You can open the window for ventilation, though it can get quite noisy from the street outside. Additionally, luggage storage is chargeable, which wasn’t communicated in advance. Overall, it’s a decent stay if you’re independent and prefer a self-service style accommodation, but best not to expect much assistance or comfort amenities on-site."
