"Rooms were clean but the hotel was very noisy for a quiet weekend. The walls/doors really don’t dampen noise well. Staff were friendly. Pool is amazing but the hot tub jets don’t work. The most disappointing part of this hotel is the breakfast buffet. "

Welcome & Hospitality: We received a warm and genuine welcome upon arrival. The owner went above and beyond—providing not only all the necessary information but also taking the time to personally show us around the property and answer all our questions. His knowledge of the surrounding area and local offerings was excellent and added real value to our stay. Room & Comfort: Our room was exactly what we were hoping for—spacious, comfortable, and with a romantic atmosphere. I typically don’t sleep well away from home, but in this case, I slept exceptionally well, which speaks volumes about the comfort and tranquility. Amenities & Cleanliness: Everything was spotless. We especially appreciated the small beverage area, which was thoughtfully stocked. Even when I woke up at 4 a.m., I was able to make tea, and later prepare coffee for my partner when they woke up. Breakfast Experience: Breakfast was excellent. The breakfast room, with its original farmstead charm, created a warm and inviting ambiance that made the experience even more enjoyable. "Overall this is a very nice hotel, decent breakfast, friendly staff, clean... My one complaint is the height of the toilet. It's so low that the towel rack was hanging off probably from people using it to help them get back up. I was traveling with my senior mother and she had to go down the hall to use the family washroom because it had a rail. Definitely not an accessible hotel. The beds were comfortable though, just get higher toilets please. I'm only 5'4 and I had trouble getting back up. "

"The gentleman at reception was very pleasant and welcoming and gave clear instructions re all the amenities and provided me with a bucket and two bags of ice. Even though close to the highway the room was quiet and all items functioned very well. The bed was excellent and the bathroom and room very clean. Great Place."
