"Very clean hotel right next to Oita station lots of shopping and food and easy travel but bus or train or foot . My fiance said the onsen was super nice and clean . Checking in and out very easy and fast all the staff super nice and friendly and very accommodating considering I don't speak Japanese. I have visited Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Oita for a little over a week in each city. Oita was by far my most enjoyable and relaxing city I have visited. "Everything was neat and tidy, with a bento breakfast thrown in and cheap parking on a lot out the back, for an affordable price. The staff were all good too. There's a Gust restaurant next door and a Lawson across the road. However, the doors were a little low for tall people, the corridors aren't air conditioned and I'd prefer a regular buffet breakfast rather than eating a bento in my room."

"I’ve booked twice om different days. Toilet noise flushing whole night. Onsen is great but foreign visitor’s don’t wash and just directly go to the pool. "

"Staff members are so nice! I was very happy because even though we were late for the breakfast time they kindly served us. Hotel is very clean, modern, and convenient. I would definitely stay again at this hotel. Again this service was the top level of high standard of Japan generally. "
"If you come, allocate some time to visit the amenities. The amazing amount of amenities is very hard to beat from the public and private baths, free ice cream, Yakult, and warm soba. "
"I give this property 5 stars for staff because they were amazing. From the front desk staff, to the waiters, to the food servers to the maids - everyone was so nice and helpful and smiling. The room was stunning. Classic Japanese tatami mat room but with western toilet and deep soaking tub. We had ocean view. STUNNING! You should stay here.
I need to say - that while I know the hotel is older, and there's charm in that - this hotel needs a deep clean. The closet and vents were dusty and the bathroom had some mold. It's a very humid place, so that's difficult to keep clean - but just a little more bleach a poll nd this is a 5-Star resort. I would stay there again the food was outrageously wonderful and plentiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay"
"The staff were exceptional. There was an issue with my room and they exceeded my expectations by rectifying the issue with incredible care and gratitude. I was truly amazed by the hospitality. Thank you very much."
