Top Isle of Eriska Hotel Reviews

Loch Leven Hotel & Distillery
10/10 Excellent
"Good hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. A great cosy bar."

The Isle of Mull Hotel and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Our room was spacious and was cleaned thoroughly every day whilst we were there.Staff were all helpful and all appeared to know their job role and responsibilities.Breakfast was initially from a menu but was changed to a buffet on our last two mornings. Both ways were fine and there was a very good choice of hot and cold food. The bar was well stocked and staff were pleasant and attentive. We ate in the bar each night and the food was very good with several choices and priced very reasonably. The hotel was close to the beach and was accessed by a board walk which we used. The hotel had a pool and spa which we did not use as we went out sightseeing each day. The view from the hotel was stunning too."

The Great Western Hotel
8/10 Good
"Nice property , clean and well maintained. Easy and swift check in. The advertising of the hotel focused a lot on the gym , Golf, Spa and swimming pool facilities, and I was a little annoyed to find out on reading the small print ( after we had booked) that there was a £15 per person charge to use the pool. We felt that this should be pointed out more prominently as the pool and Spa was one of the main reasons for booking."

The Pierrooms
6/10 Okay
"The room was clean and the bed comfortable, though so high off the floor that my friend had to use a desk chair to climb in to bed (she also complained that the toilet was too high for comfort). Had there been two people in the room one would have had to climb over the other to use the facilities. The rooms have no natural light and the air conditioning/heating cannot be set below 18C at night. In short, a triumph of trendy design over utility. If following satnav to find the property you go through the barrier for the station and are then charged £12 for a part of the day if it takes in excess of 30 minutes to locate the building and unload. You need a smartphone to access your room (in which is a door key). 24 hour parking by the Premier Inn a couple of streets away is £7.50 (not £5 as stated on the parking leaflet in the stand by the main entry). No food on premises but a Wetherspoon's is nextdoor. Plenty of other places to eat in Oban that are competitively priced."

The Royal Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Very difficult to move around the bathroom, the door hit the side of the bath when opened from the bedroom. We had reserved a dog friendly room, fortunately, we have a small dog because there was very little room for his crate. I suspect we were given a less adequate room, ( adjacent rooms I viewed had a better layout) because the hotel was catering for large groups and we were staying just one night. This was despite the fact that I booked it months ago."

Onich Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We had a nice stay."

Isles Of Glencoe Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful time. The room view of the lake was beautiful and it was a bonus especially during the times it was raining."

The Ranald Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Good hotel with comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast, pleasant and helpful staff. No lift, however, or car park. Five minute walk to railway station, bus station and Calmac ferries."

Muthu Oban Regent Hotel
6/10 Okay
"The hotel is functional, a bit dated looking from the outside, better inside but the shower in our room was not fit for purpose. Decent food but the menu is very limited. Parking is virtually non existent but the street parking is free after 6pm until 9am."
