"We shared our honeymoon here and it was definitely a different experience we were used to. It was peaceful and calm and truly a week of relaxing. The stuff was great, food was good, pool was warmed and nice. Ocean a few steps away. We loved the island and feeling safe to leave the resort was huge! This resort is right where you want to be on the island and just minutes away from the other side. Walking distance to a lot nearby. They were super accommodating. Will even sign you up for activities and a golf cart rental to tour the island with delivery right to the front steps on the resort if you ask! Definitely coming back!"

"Clean with good amenities. They can improve their shows and more variety in their food esp the morning buffet. I have noticed some of the restaurants are not open too. But overall, very good resort and the beach was the best. Staff are very polite, helpful and pleasant."

"We have been to Mexico many times, but our first at this resort and it did not disappoint!!! The resort is beautiful and the pools are to die for. Our butler Elizabeth was totally amazing, she went above & beyond to make our stay wonderful. Joel was also great making sure we had everything we needed. Thomas at the Privilege pool lounge made the best drinks & great stories....If you want a peaceful, adult ONLY resort, this is the place to go!!!"

Hotel Riu Palace Costa Mujeres - All Inclusive

"This was probably my eighth stay at Riu Palace Costa Mujeres, and I keep coming back for a reason. The service is excellent, the staff is always friendly and attentive, and housekeeping does a great job. The rooms are comfortable and clean, although some of the plumbing needs maintenance. We stayed on the fourth floor, and the shower pressure was weak with some leaking. The food is very good, although this year the selection seemed smaller than on previous visits, possibly because it was low season. Drinks and cocktails were excellent. The beach is absolutely beautiful and one of the best parts of the resort. There was some seaweed, but that is normal for September. The pools were clean, although the water was very warm because of the heat. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the atmosphere is relaxed with music and evening entertainment. Overall, I still really enjoy this resort and would gladly return."

"This property was beautiful! We will be staying there again. Everything was so clean and it gave the feel of a high end resort. All of the food was delicious, we tried many different dishes and they were all so good. We had a breathtaking 2 level suite with a private pool and it did not disappoint. The staff was so helpful when we decided to go downtown. They gave us great recommendations on where to visit and even set up a taxi for us there and back. The only con was that for some reason, everyday the elevator in building 2 was down, it started working again later on in the day and It didn't stop maintenance and housekeeping (It didn't stop us either) from dragging their carts up and down the stairs in the heat and humidity to ensure their job was done. I did feel bad for them though, they were so hot. All in all we had a great experience!"
