"I was very impressed with this hotel. It was one of the least expensive in the area but it had free breakfast and a pool so we gave it a try. The hotel smells clean and pleasant when you walk in. A faint scent of chlorine and “pool” when you walk towards the end of the hall, but not bad at all. Check in and check out were quick. I had 2 kids with me and they loved the pool. The water was warm and there were lounge chairs and tables to use as well as plenty of towels! The hotel was not very crowded so we stayed in the pool for a long time and enjoyed it. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was quite comfortable too. The breakfast was really good. Cheese omelets, red skin potatoes, sausage, yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries, bagels, bread, cereal, oatmeal with many topping options, 2 types of waffles to make, hard boiled eggs. There were 4 types of juice as well as ice water, milk coffee and tea. So many delicious choices! We really enjoyed the breakfast and it was replenished often and very clean. The staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. My only slight complaint was that the coffee there was terrible. The light roast was very strong and bitter. Luckily there is a Tim Hortons just up the street! The other concern was the temperature in the room. It was quite chilly but I believe it was due to the boys “turning down” the air and not a true room issue. Either way it was manageable and we really enjoyed our time there. "

"Actually, I can't say enough about the Fairfield, it was my first time there, and I can say this with absolute certainty, my stay was perfect, worth every penny, and they will definitely see me again. Everyone was so friendly, a smile on every face; and the breakfast in the morning was great. I was so impressed with how clean everything was, the hotel looked brand new... I walked into my room and the TV was on, and on the screen it said: Good Afternoon James... It made me chuckle a bit. But, the one thing that stands out the most, was the lovely lady behind the front desk, Miss Margaret, (and please forgive me if I have the name wrong) she was there when I checked in and when I checked out. And I still can't say enough about the Fairfield, even though I have said enough... And thank you, you will see again. "
