"This was a great place for us to stay because of its location very close to the train station, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The loud music from the nearby bars was bothersome, but we were willing to put up with that because of the location, and they stopped about one o’clock. Breakfast was mainly bread. They do have a washer and dryer available after 6. And they stored our luggage until we could leave."

"You are basically paying for the location! No faulting the staff, very courteous & friendly. Restaurant very good. But rooms are very small. Not much room at all, bathrooms compact but well presented. Hotel is also used as coach stop for boat tours on Loch Ness. Recommended but high price for small room."

"We were warmly welcomed by Callum at reception and were directed to our room. This room was very warm and had a radiator we couldn’t turn off. We went back to reception and were offered another room which was just perfect. The pool and steam room were an added bonus for us and we used them on both days we were there. The woman in the bar on Saturday night was very friendly and helpful and made us and other guests there feel very welcome. We will certainly look at booking this hotel when we next visit Inverness"

"The hotel is very pretty and well situated in town right on the river. Our rooms were as described however; the ventilation in the room was insufficient. We visited in July and even with the fan on, windows open, the room was very warm and stuffy. We ordered drinks at the bar and service was rather slow (even while the bar was not full of patrons). Service at the front desk and around the property were otherwise very friendly and helpful."
