Beautiful property, comfortable rooms

What a magical place to stay!! We had such a great time here. The grounds were nice to walk around, the gift basket was amazing and the staff were friendly! We only wish we could have stayed longer. The only downside was the parking. There is plenty with an extra car park down the ways but with all our luggage we wish there were more closer, also another guest had taken up two spots which was a bummer

The Highland Club is in a old abbey. I has been renovated into a modern and very comfortable place of lodging. The rooms are modern, but the facility creates a feel of being in an ancient cathedral. It was very nice. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.

The Highland Club apartment we stayed in was wonderful. My family was upset with me for not booking it for a longer stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable, it was very quiet and walkable to the whole downtown area of Fort Augustus. We stayed on the third floor and had to carry all of our luggage up the three fights of stairs but we survived. I marked the amenities down by one only because we tried to book a time at the pool and sauna and were unable to since it was already booked. It would have been helpful to know in advance that we had to book use of those facilities.

Wonderful!

We had appartment 11 in the Monastery (North). A really lovely appartment and perfect for a few nights away in the Highlands. The room had literally everything you could possibly need! The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. I know its luck of the draw.... but the weather was absolutely perfect for our stay and it just made it all the better! The only thing to mention is that there is no lift, but luckily that didnt bother us. We certainly got our steps in for the days we were there!

The apartment was fabulous. It was very comfortable and had everything you needed. The welcome hamper was magnificent and we indulged in all its goodies. Marty was really helpful and gave us a tour around the building and facilities and took us to the apartment and showed us where to park so that we were close to the apartment for carrying our luggage. Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. We hope to return sometime next year and we would have no hesitation in recommending The Highland Club. Highly Recommended

This was such a beautiful place! So happy we stayed here! The kitchen was well equipped, the amenities were great, the beds were comfortable, and the entire facility was very clean! My wife, and I are on holiday with the in-laws who have never been to the UK. We flew into Inverness and drove the pleasant drive to Fort Augustus. We drove onto the property a little early, but thought to just grab a bit to eat at the Boat House until the timing was just right. We were greeted by Marty. After ringing to find reception. (The signs didn’t clearly indicate to -keep going- back toward reception, they were also difficult to read for someone that needs a bit stronger contrast in type face). The property was amazing! We loved our apartment and just how equipped it was. Fully prepared for carry-in food prep. It was just the respite we needed. We loved being able to do a load of laundry, while also exploring the property! We were in the Abbey. My MIL had jokingly said “awww can we stay just one more night please please please?!” lol. I think it would be a nice touch to have a parking chart, two people in our party have pretty bad knees. And back by reception seemed congested. But overall it was still worth the extra steps! I definitely should have booked another night at The Highland Club. It is a great location for Loch Ness, we did a nice drive to Isle of Skye and the Fairy Pools. We also did a photoshoot on the property and my little nerd heart was in a wizarding haven.
