"Surprisingly good for what was to be expected from a basic hotel (albeit at Edinburgh prices!) Rooms have everything that you need, great central location and staff were friendly enough. The room was quite warm though, and unfortunately the air con was reset centrally during the night, which made for a quite uncomfortable sleep."

"This was our second stay at a Motel One . Earlier in our trip, we stayed at Motel One Princes Street. This facility was very clean, the staff was helpful and friendly. The availability of breakfast was very convenient and I loved the breakfast. The location was great with easy access to the train station and easy but hilly walking to shops and the Royal Mile. Would stay again."

"Hotel was easy to find, staff were all exceptional and rooms were clean. Things to be aware of…they have rooms in the main building and rooms in the building across the street. Buildings are secure and safe, however you cannot take drinks across the street so if you want a glass of wine in bed it’s not possible. Also parking is about a10-15min walk from the hotel."
