"Located in the center of Hilo 5-15 minutes away from everything, 45 minutes from Kilauea lookout. The building is older and the lower floors are private businesses but you basically only go to the elevator and the coffee shop. The unit was nice, recently renovated everything kitchen to bathroom. The downfall was the A/C in one of the rooms just broke down and a part needed to be ordered but other than that unit was clean, nice, and enjoyable. Useful kitchen appliances if you were thinking of cooking but we didn't because we were out and about. The pool is on the smaller side and on the side of parking lot. We didn't go in it because it was always raining. "

"This was exactly what our little family needed. Cozy, clean, comfortable. It came stocked with random toiletries I’m guessing were left by previous guests. (Thanks to whoever bought the aloe lotion by the way). As well as some beach gear, a plethora of towels and a few useful kitchen items. Checked into a hotel on the other side of the island and immediately missed the quiet little house where I could listen to the interesting night wildlife. The house is older by well maintained. So long as one isn’t to finicky, this is perfect."

"I love this charming spacious home. It was conveniently located close to downtown and other amenities (farmers market, cafes, grocery stores, restaurants, etcetera) with allocated free parking. The home was well equipped with an array of potential needs we may have had as travelers (e.g., beach towels, shampoo, cooler for picnics). They also provided plenty of information about the area which we found very helpful because Hilo was our base to explore Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, the Hamakua Coast and Volcano National park. They also provided cultural literature which we appreciated because for us this was also a cultural trip. Overall, this was an excellent location (safe and quiet) to explore other areas."
