"The breakfast is buffet style, a couple of options to order something different, eg porridge or boiled eggs. A good selection on the buffet, although no continental options. The dinning area is very spacious & there were plenty of staff available. On 2 occasions there was a noise of a vacuum cleaner nearby, which caused a bit of a disturbance. We only used the bar area one evening, but it was comfortable. "

"Although the hotel has the status Manor it was a bit tired in some areas. The breakfast area needed to be stocked up a few times and ran out of a couple of things. Staff mainly helpful and friendly Ordered food from the lunchtime menu when we arrived and the prawns in our food were a bit hard and the pasta was not linguine it was tagliatelle. Arrived back not too late from our party and the hotel bar was shut "

"The self catering flat was clean, well equipped particularly in the kitchen and living room with fans, jigsaws and dvds galore. There were even binoculars to better appreciate the sea views. "

"Lovely, well presented large property. Plenty of room for our 3 dogs in the kitchen diner. Secure rear yard was a good bonus. Very well equipped for our needs. Perfect location for exploring that part of the Norfolk coast. Within an easy stroll to a wonderful dog friendly no restrictions beach. Old Hunstanton Beach Cafe us well worth a visit. (Super food). Would certainly check Troon Cottage's availability should we go that way again. "
