"A one night stay here at Percy Arms was very enjoyable. Room was spacious & very clean. Parking was very easy and close to hotel. Staff were very good and very sociable. Meal in the evening was lovely and I found a wonderful new glaze for my steaks. Monkey Gland sauce was the glaze on my steak which was fabulous. I will be going out to find this sauce which is South African. I did leave behind a phone charger and a belt and the hotel have informed me that they will return them to my home. So excellent service. I wonder if their chef would put a little bottle of the Monkey Gland sauce in the parcel. Would def stay here again and would recommend"

"Having read previous reviews my expectations were high and I was not disappointed 😊 Spotlessly clean, plenty of room, comfy beds and more cooking utensils than most homes would have. Only a 10 minute walk to the local pub “The Cricketers” who serve fantastic meals. Would certainly stay again if it was available again. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage☺️"

"We stayed at the Asperion for one night, for my daughter's graduation & found it very clean, staff very friendly & helpful. It was perfect for what we wanted as we were actually only in the room for about 12 hours. The bed was SO comfortable, it was the best nights sleep I had had in this heat for a while !!! They had put a fan on in the room for us which we were very grateful for. The rooms are not the biggest but all we needed was a bed and shower, so perfect. The en suite is a little small, but the shower was great & it was very clean. I can't coment on the breakfast as we didn't have it. But if you book at the hotel you receive a 50% discount. You do have to order what you would like the night before and a time, but if you're heading out this shouldn't be a problem. It's location is great and easy to get to from the train station (just a 10 minute walk). I would highly recommend this as a comfortable, friendly clean hotel to rest your head."
