"Outstanding historical hotel. A must see even if you aren’t staying in the hotel, the historic lobby is so unique. One of the best breakfasts in the city, but don’t limit yourself to the hotel breakfast only since there are so many wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner places around. The hotel staff were efficient and polite and just very professional. Loved our stay and strongly recommend over some of the more modern hotels if you want to experience Istanbul culture and history. "We stayed recently here and were happy overall with our stay. Pool was great …closed at 8pm…not too crowded … Breakfast was good overall…lots of breads and traditional Turkish breakfast…omelettes made to order …service was really good and were all friendly … I would like to thank two individuals particularly who made our stay comfortable …Joseph and I can’t for life of me remember the other guy at reception (had salt pepper hair) were very friendly … Location is about 15 minute walk to main sites which has some uphill walking to do …lots of stores and travel agencies on the way to the main sites Good hot water and pressure …ac was good …spacious room "

"The staff was professional and friendly. The hotel is clean and well ventilated, our AC worked really well. We got a spacious "three adults" size room as advertised. I really like that they always had water bottles when you ask at the front desk so we all stayed hydrated all the time."

"Fantastic staff. Great hospitality. Their breakfast was excellent. Located in a historic neighborhood. 6 to 8 minute walk to the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. Lots of dinning and shopping options around. We were in Istanbul for just 3 days and couldn't have asked for a better location for a short trip."
