"whilst the hotel was under refurbishment ,our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. We had a medical emergency during our stay and the staff were excellent with their concern and assistance, for which we were thankful. "Very friendly and helpful staff. Food in restaurant very good. Excellent value for money. It's being refurbished and this does need to continue, as some parts are a bit 'tired', though still very clean. Main criticism would be the lighting - mis-matched and dull lighting in the bedrooms, would be an easy fix. Would definitely recommend though, given excellent value for money and great food."
