Well equipped, perfect location with groceries just around the corner. Clean and compact, would book it again. Only minus - the bathroom needs new silicone for the floor corners, a bit moldy.

Initially the WiFi didn’t work because the wrong password was supplied. It took several communications to resolve the issue. Flat is convenient - short walk to the train station, restaurants and grocery stores

Poor communication, poor cleanliness. We had booked 2 rooms and only one key was prepared for us so we had to stress with check-in when we arrived late. There was lots of trash in the hallway. The sink was leaking in one of the bathrooms. just poorly kept really. However, it was cheap! and I guess it's not so bad compared to the price.

I had problems checking in. I followed the instruction to open the key box but there was no key inside the key box. I tried to call to the number online and it was saying number unavailable. I waited with our luggage’s for about 1hour didn’t know what to do. Then i called to the number at the door, the manager came about 20 mins later to open the door for us. She was very kind and friendly and apologised for what happened. The room was suitable for one person stay with a single bed. The entrance was indeed a bit dangerous, where there is a wooden platform placed on top of the stairs, i think the purpose is to ease rolling the luggage. But it was a bit unstable, so it is not so suitable for elderly people to walk on the platform to the room. Overall cleanliness was good, good location and value for money.

Apartment is at a great location, close to downtown with many stores, shops and restaurants around. The walls in the building are a bit thin, we found water in the water cattle that had apparently been there for a while and we could not for the life of us turn off the heater in the bathroom. Considering the price all in all a fair deal.

The apartment needs an AC asap, very hot even when it was cold outside. Poorly equipped but it was perfectly located in Helsinki which made our stay better.

Room had lots of issues. Could not use the key to enter the building. It took us more than 15 minutes to get it to work in freezing -15c temperature. Key support number provided in the room was wrong. Citykoti number provided was wrong. I could only find citykoti's correct number in Expedia booking after deep search rather than even on their website. Washing machine was very difficult to use. No dryer provided and no facility to dry clothes. Water was leaking out of the shower and there was water everywhere in the tiny bathroom. Heating could have been a lot warmer and even in the highest setting we felt cold in the room.

The place is very conveniently located but unfortunately that is the only positive note I can make about CityKoti Downtown Apartments. When we checked into the hotel we noticed that it wasn't as clean as we would have liked it to be. There were strands of hair from the previous occupants still on the pillow cases and odd stains on the bed and sheets. The kettle that was left available was also not functional and we noticed a distinctive smoke smell on the towels. When I reached out to customer service with my concerns, they said they would look into and never followed up. I've reached out to them again and they still haven't responded. I would say staying at this place definitely put a damper on our time in Helsinki.
