"Other than the awkward placement of the safe deposit box (inaccessible for a short person) the room was spacious and well laid out. Wonderfully clean during the week, but the cleanliness took a hit on the weekend, likely because of the football game on Saturday night - the hotel was packed full, and they were clearly short-handed. Our 2 bottles of drinking water and incredibly delicious cookies were not replenished as they had been the previous 3 days, and the bathroom bin remained unemptied the entire weekend. There was also a strong smell of sewer some evenings when we walked in after having been out all day. This smell dissipated after several minutes but it was not nice to come home to. The friendly woman at the desk (Noelle) did her utmost to supply what she could, stockwise, and someone was sent up the following morning to deal with the bad smell by dropping a tablet of some sort down the drain. So in the end, everything worked out, but it was still disappointing to have to deal with these issues after such a strong start.
The location of the hotel itself was unbeatable - right across the street from Finsbury Park Station, from which you could catch the Tube (Piccadilly Line) to and from Heathrow Airport (approx one hour ride) or the train to places like Cambridge - very comfortable and clean. And of course, if you were there for the football (we weren't) it appeared to be of excellent proximity to Emirates Stadium (10-15 min walk).
I would definitely stay here again.
