"The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint about the room was that the makeup mirror in the bathroom was too high. I had to stand on my toes and still couldn’t reach it. It didn’t tilt down. (I’m 4’9”). We loved the breakfast, especially eating out on the rooftop. "

"This hotel was truly a gem! It's located in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of shopping and restaurants to try. Me and my husband stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. There is plenty of free parking for the hotel guest which is very rare for Chicago and it's surrounding areas. It is also in close proximity to downtown Chicago. The room was very spacious and clean and we loved the old charm of the decor. The only thing that was not the best was that the king size bed was a little too hard for our liking. But we were able to fix that by getting an extra comforter to make it softer. We loved the jazz music that was playing in the lobby, so soothing. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Chicago. "

"There for a nearby convention. Staff very accommodating. Walls proved to be a little thin first night with arguing next door. Next night was fine. Nice neighborhood adjacent to walk in. Enjoyed the continental breakfast. Room definitely dated and not the prettiest. "
