The hotel is unique: it is a former hospital and still has that vibe somewhat. The staff was fantastic. The location was great. We had pizza delivered to the hotel lobby and all was great.

Loved that this was the old Cook County Hospital, quite the history! Recommend the "Museum", but our party all agreed it was more of a "Remembrance Room", interesting and good history. Location was great for us, but a bit off the touristy route (our son and niece are UIC Med). Hotel was nice (elevators a take a minute to get use to!), amenities were great (nice bar and had fun playing pool), breakfast was included and fine. Common area furniture could use some loving...and DEFINITLY some cleaning, lots of stains in multiple places (...eeew).
