"This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."

"Loved the space. Lots of small details included, facilities were fantastic, great sleep and brilliant view of Fuji. Loved that it was walking distance to the lake too."

"Amazing place to stay, my kids enjoy the little yard outside with a nice view. Apparently this is meant for family with pets, it still works out well for my family of 4. "

"Staff was very polite and give you tour of the hotel. They also deliver your luggage to your room when you arrive.
Shuttle service from various stations nearby was very useful. We enjoyed our stay here"
"Our stay at Bessho Sasa was truly unforgettable. We experienced the kaiseki dinner and it was a cultural journey from start to finish. Thanks to Yasu, the evening became even more special. She thoughtfully explained each dish, shared the meaning behind the ingredients, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time.
The hospitality continued right through to checkout. Yasu greeted us again in the lobby and offered to take a photo with Mount Fuji as the backdrop—a gesture that meant a lot to us."
