"Had no inconvenience and great location"

"Very disappointing stay at the Millennium Hotel Broadway Times Square. Our room had multiple issues—the bathroom door was broken, the TV unit was damaged, and the internet connection was extremely unstable, making it difficult to stay connected. What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of support from the staff. Despite reporting these problems, no one seemed willing to help or offer a proper solution. For a hotel in such a prime location and at this price point, basic maintenance, reliable Wi-Fi, and responsive customer service should be standard. Unfortunately, this stay fell far below expectations."

"Hotel staff was great. The roof top lounge would have been nice if they toned down the volume on the music. We left as did others due to the volume and the speakers being right overhead to seating areas. Wem ended up going to other local bars instead. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable, but the room was on the small size to move around in."

"My family and I, enjoyed staying at this hotel. Location is great! Walkable to many places for tourists. My only dislike was when we arrived during check-in. Our room was not ready and it took a long while to get. Hilton gave us vouchers for dinner, so they made it up well."

"My daughter and I stayed at the Times Square Hyatt Regency for 4 nights. The location is excellent and we found our stay very comfortable. A couple of things we didn't love: there was often no hot water in the showers in the morning, the door to the room had a huge gap underneath which let in noise from the corridor (we put a towel in front of the gap which helped), the restaurant in the hotel, while convenient, added a 20% surcharge for everything, even take-out coffee. I would definitely stay here again but would skip the restaurant and would hope that the hot water issue is resolved."

"Stayed at the New Yorker Hotel and it was honestly not worth the price. The hallways are outdated and the “city view” room we were given was basically a corner wall with barely any view of MSG. You’re mainly paying for the location in the heart of NYC. What really ruined the experience was how we were treated regarding their smoking policy. I asked a worker if there was any balcony or smoking area available and was told no, to just smoke outside. Cool, no problem. The next morning at 9AM security knocked on our door claiming they smelled marijuana. We told them they had the wrong room. The security guard even explained that if someone was actually smoking in a room, their desk would get notified by the smoke detector system. He made it sound like they were generally searching for who was smoking — not that our room specifically triggered anything. Then the very next day we received a letter saying we were being charged a smoking fee anyway. I even tested the so-called “smoke detector” afterward and it clearly was not functioning, which makes the whole situation feel questionable and discriminatory. Overall, definitely not worth what they charge. Location is the only real positive."
