"Lovely hotel, rooms and views. Very accommodating, for a price. Comparatively expensive for the other places we stayed in Japan, but they were excellent. Designed to be a resort, it is unnecessary to leave the property but they made everything in the area very easy to access. Common area and restaurants were very pleasant spaces to relax. "

"This hotel is beautiful! We ended up booking an extra night because we loved the area so much. Hakone is a beautiful town full of nature. It’s so green all around. The hotel has a great bakery coffee area where they hand make their breads. There is a bus stop down the end of the road which takes you everywhere. Not a lot of dining options in the town but the hotel has a great little restaurant."
