"Kind of sketchy area and overall sketchy vibes. Luckily the room itself seemed fairly clean and the bathroom had some modern features. Was only here for 1 night as we needed somewhere to sleep but would not really recommend for any longer than that. Extremely overpriced for what it is."

"I loved this hotel! Favorite place I’ve stayed in NYC yet. Beautiful rooms, great location, smoothie juice bar, and a garden outside perfect for daytime or ending the night. The check in staff could have been a bit more welcoming for the price but hey it’s new york after all lol. Also would say it’s geared towards a younger crowd especially with the roof / lobby clubs open on the weekends. Hope to be back soon!"

"The shower in my room took nearly 10 minutes to get warm. On the day I checked in, I noticed the issue and reported it to the front desk. Later, I was told it had been fixed, but when I returned to my room, it clearly had not. A staff member eventually came to the room to check it. They ran the shower for 5–6 minutes before the water finally started to warm up. However, this was after I had already run it for 4–5 minutes myself before going back to the front desk to complain. To make matters worse, the water continued getting hotter the longer it ran, so I constantly had to adjust the temperature to avoid it being either too cold or scalding hot. They did not change my room and I was there for 2 days. At checkout, I was asked about my stay. I explained that it had not been great because of this issue and the way it was handled. The front desk agent simply responded, "Oh, okay. Have a nice day." Between the shower problem, the lack of concern from the staff, and the extensive renovations taking place in the main lobby during my stay, I was shocked by how much this hotel charged. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here."

"Room was not well kept, hardwood floor was scratched all over, bathrooms were not totally clean. Front desk staff were not that helpful. I wanted to ship some item back to my home the person in charge of shipping was not the helpful. I ended up walking to near by UPS to get help. I wanted the hotel keep our luggage while waiting for our ride back to airport I had to pay cash for that service. Generally staff service was not satisfactory, specially for premium price we paid."
