Perfect place when you arrive late or go back early because its only 5 min by foot to the airport. Rooms are very spacious, clean and beds are perfect. Our host was really nice with them.

Very clean and quiet. The showers were great and the bedding was clwan and it was comfortable. It is a difficult place to find as the map shows a completely different address and they have no phone number to call. You can find the hostel at the end of the block, the sign is for a car rental/repair shop.

Stayed here a night before a flight out of Aurora airport. The staff and the owner were extremely hospitable and friendly. It was a clean and quiet stay. Staff even cooked up a dinner plate for me so I wouldn’t have to venture too far away. It was delicious. Would stay here again in the future. Thank you Gold house!

Great location for flights, sweet staff! Hardest thing was finding it, no sign, and it looks like a residence. My advice would be to go to the next street down with the gated guarded entrance and ask there.

No hot water. The hotel was a little hard to find. The hotel didnt have any signs with its name. But instead had a sign about “Gold Rentals.” The beds and bedding was really comfortable. Easily walked to the airport after checking out.

This is a great option for a place to stay after flying in to Guatemala City Airport late at night or before an early morning flight. It is literally a 2 minute easy walk from the airport terminal. The signs were strange, they are for "Gold GT Car" which is a rental car place, but after you walk in to the small 2 car garage, there is a regular desk and waiting area. The rooms were small and clean. The manager was very friendly and answered several questions.

The attendant went out of his way to help!

The attendant was so friendly and he went out of his way to be helpful. I forgot my phone at the hotel and he drove back from the hotel to get it to us before our flight left. He not only went out of his way but he was so kind and friendly.

This place was weird. It like a rental car business that also rents rooms. You won’t find it Google and the address is incomplete. There’s also no street sign. My room was dirty and unpleasant. There was soiled toilet paper in the wastebasket. The WiFi and hot water were nonfunctional. You can walk to the airport, but a friendly worker took me at 3:30am. That was the sole saving grace.

Pros: low price, 5 minute walk from the airport, clean. Cons: Impossible to find the hotel since there is no hotel sign in a poorly lit neighborhood area, and they close the hotel entrance door at night. Even my preplanned excursion coordinator was driving up and down the street looking for the hotel to pick me up. There is a security guard in a gated community on the adjacent street that helped me find the hotel. Traveller tip: once you arrive at the hotel you will have to ring the doorbell and stand in front of the camera. Recommend you have the hotel phone number and are able to speak fluent spanish to get directions and ring the correct property doorbell. The room AC/fan is not adjustable and only turns on and off. The shower is an in-line heater and only provides lukewarm water.

There was no speaking english, we were checking in right before end of check in and there was no one there and it was through a car park. It was not as advertised and felt unsafe so decided to sleep at the airport instead.

I really liked how it was amazingly quiet despite being so near to an airport (which itself could be seen as a major advantage), the staff was just wonderful. Only thing I had issue is that it's difficult to get the shower's heat up.
