"The property is very nice and had no problems with staff. They were very nice and helpful. However, for those looking to access public transportation this hotel is not for you. I didn’t realize how far away this hotel was from bus stops or train stations when booking and found myself kind of stranded (I tried to walk to the bus stop 20minutes away and the streets immediately around the hotel are not designed for pedestrians). "We had a lovely experience staying in Sakuya hotel. The owners were very kind and helpful, offered us shuttle van to go to town. Offered us private onsen which was very relaxing. Rooms were futon bed with a view of Mt Fuji, breakfast was so yum. Would definitely come next time. "

"Got there a bit later than expected but my time there was nice the breakfast preparation was super nice and option to rent a bike for a whole day and little souvenir shops around with good food places made me wish I had gotten there sooner, def would go back to hopefully see the mountains better since it rained bad when I went."
