"The Frumskógar Guesthouse was a great "home away from home" in southern Iceland! My husband and I had a small apartment which was very spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for simple food preparation (and we were happy to find that there was salt/pepper, coffee, tea). The Guesthouse includes a lovely hot tub, sauna, and outdoor shower, which we enjoyed in the evenings. "A great boutique hotel. We had an “apartment “ room. It had kitchenette, large bathroom, and separate bedroom off the main room. Very clean. We experienced no noise. We were not on the street side (which is a pedestrian only street). The breakfast buffet was terrific. All kinds of cold choices. Tasty and enough to be filled too. Highly recommend. "

"The location of the hotel was perfect, the room was a good size, the bed was really comfy and we had a bath which was a lovely addition after hiking for 2 weeks. The only down side was the noise from the street was very loud, it was a weekend that we stayed so the music from the bars and shouting was quite loud but it was easily solved with good ear plugs! "
