"I have stayed at this property over twenty times. The staff is great. Staff remember you from previous stays. Room was clean and AC is great. Breakfast is always good. The property is beginning to show its age. My only complaint was the WiFi was spotty. In the past I never had WiFi issues and it seemed that way in most areas of the hotel. Overall another great stay, I will stay there again. "

"Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Plaza Cozumel. The room was clean and comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The location was convenient and made it easy to get around town and to the waterfront. Breakfast was simple but good. Overall, a solid place to stay and I’d definitely consider staying here again."

"What is a decent place. Had a partial ocean view not a full on ocean view. We had a huge part of the hotel to our left. Which blocked a lot of the view. We were right off the street so it was pretty busy and loud. Very convenient to city life and walking at night. Very safe. Nice restaurants around. Would probably skip next time due to the noise level. Lotta construction going on. Breakfast was not included for us, but we did eat breakfast there once and the food is great. There is a gated, covered parking area for your car or scooter. Secure. If you’re looking for the resort life, this is not it. If you’re looking for a place to crash while you dive every day, this could be it."

"We stayed at Casita Maya for our first ever trip to Mexico and we had a fantastic time here! It really felt like staying with fun friends. Very relaxed energy, very beautiful space. Daniel is the MVP! He was always joking with my husband and was very quick to help with anything we needed throughout our stay, like numerous taxis and answering many questions. He’s also an excellent chef. We loved having our meals out by the pool, in fact we ordered breakfast here every morning. House keeping did a wonderful job for us as well! The only thing I noticed is that the tile floors were a little dusty (which I only noticed because I walk around in socks usually and the black pairs tend to show dust) but the room still felt very clean and the fresh towels and linens always smelled wonderful. The closet is huge for a hotel, with very convenient shelves just across from the vanity. We loved listening to birds through the adjustable louvered shutter windows and doors every morning as we woke up. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! We felt well-cared-for, clean, and comfortable at this hotel."

"I wouldn’t return to this hotel because of the mattresses. They’re extremely old—the outer fabric is so brittle that it’s shedding and turning to dust. There was also a small hole on the side of the mattress. Because of the mattress, it felt unsanitary. If it wasn't for the mattress I'd come back again. I would not recommend to my friends. However, the staff were nice, the property's location was great, and I felt safe."
