"We travelled as a family of four for a three-night stay and stayed in a two-bedroom suite. The rooms were not adjoining, but shared a private entrance, which worked well for us. The kitchenette was well equipped, with an oven, ceramic cooktop, toaster, large fridge/freezer and microwave, which was really useful. The island itself is absolutely stunning. The snorkelling was a highlight, with turtles, reef sharks and beautiful reef easily accessible. The summit hike was also amazing, although I’d only recommend it for children aged 8+ with good fitness levels. Unfortunately, the resort experience did not match the premium price. Rooms are only cleaned every three days, towels were not replaced, and we had to empty our own bins. Staff availability was limited, and when we requested extra items, it often felt like we were inconveniencing them. We did not eat in the main restaurant, but had dinner at Foxy’s Cafe. The food was hit and miss, and the customer service was disappointing. Staff were quick to explain what guests could not do, but rarely offered helpful solutions or much empathy. Overall, I would return for a day trip, but would not stay again. The island is beautiful and well worth visiting, but the resort charges premium prices without delivering a premium resort experience."

"Great location and view if marina facing . Spacious rooms .Good breakfast and club lounge ( great service from Vivian ) Also room service Daisy and Winnie. Certain parts of this resort like facility look a bit dated but most other 5 star hotels in Cairns I noted had similar look . Overall good value for money and would stay again . "

"The pool area is great. Did not find it very clean. Front desk staff were super kind and helpful. Comfortable beds. Shutters don’t 100 percent close so kinda bright."

"Staff were very kind and efficient. Space was beautiful and in a great location. My first room had two small signs that it wasn’t cleaned properly, so I went down to inform staff and they immediately changed my room for me and gave me a $10 voucher to the bar. "
