Glen Ellen is a really cute area close to the winery. Olea staff provided a lot of great recommendations about which wineries to visit. We also had an amazing dinner at Fig Cafe and Wine Bar.

During my stay, 2 of the 4 restaurants were closed for renovation. The only place for dinner was the saloon, which was okay and friendly, and a higher end place that did not allow walk-ins. The valet was quite rude.

Glen Ellen is relaxing. The nearby Jack London State Historical park has two houses that can be explored plus many trails. Our one complaint with the Lodge was that in our room the wi-fi was spotty and that one morning a gardener used a leaf blower.
