"Apartment #2 was spacious, comfortable, modern, and pretty well equipped and we really enjoyed our time there. The setting was quiet and only an easy 3-5 mile drive to restaurants and wineries. The only disappointments were that there was no coffee filters, facial tissue, and only 2 rolls of toilet paper. The check-in was electronic and there is no personnel on site to assist in any way. Great conversations with the host to understand some tourist benefits better. "We (me and my 2 sons) really enjoyed our 3-night stay at this hotel. The staff are all very helpful despite me not having more than a few words of German. They were all very polite and seemed happy to be working there which gave the place a really nice atmosphere. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Our room was trackside with a balcony giving a full view of the start / finish straight of the Grand Prix track plus a few of the early corners of the Nordschleife. The track action starts early,(8am) on all 3 mornings we were there (late May 2026) which we all loved as petrolheads but if having a lie-in is your thing I'd ask for a room on the front of the hotel as the cars and bikes were loud. The choice at breakfast was plentiful and all very fresh - if your room rate doesn't include it I would definitely add it 100%. We also ate at the restaurant one evening. We ordered the steak, Dorint burger and the Adenauer pan (pork tenderloin with sauteed potatoes, green beans and subtle pepper sauce in case you're wondering). All delicious and good value for money. We will definitely book to stay again on our next trip to the Ring."

"We were in one of the suites which was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental, of good quality and variety although we did not know the kitchen cooked eggs to order until the last morning. Our main issue was staff helpfulness. Staff were generally good but we had a real issue with the attitude of the hotel manageress. On our first night we booked into the restaurant and were shown to a table. Some minutes later the manageress advised this was booked by someone else which wasn't an issue as we were dining with friends one of whom is disabled and may have had an issue with the table allocated. I was trying to explain this and looking for a better option when she turned her back on me and started a conversation with someone else. Our German guests also encountered her on arrival and were not impressed with her manner or attitude which they felt was due to the fact she thought they were English. On our last night our room had not been serviced when we returned from our day out at 4pm. We approached the receptionist to report this and she was using the computer next to the manageress who made eye contact with me and then carried on doing what she was doing rather than ask how she could help. I waited a minute and then had to interupt to report the issue. Even when we returned later it had not been done and I had to stand at reception arguing with her before the matter was resolved.We paid a great deal of money to stay here but this level of service is not acceptable ."
