"The best thing about this property was its location . The hotel was generally fine but you knew you were in an older property. "

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice room overlooking the city. Very convenient to historic downtown locations and coupled with delightful April weather made strolling around the sight’s delightful. If I had one suggestion it would be to expand the menu offerings in the hotel restaurant for dinner. Breakfast is reasonably priced and delightful."

"Overall, the stay was not terrible however, when we first checked in, the bathroom door would not close. Unfortunately, I was with my stepson and we were unable to use the bathroom or shower. I immediately went to the front desk and they sent a maintenance man up, but we inevitably had to leave for our reservations. When we got back at 11 o’clock, the door still had not been fixed nor did they let us know. When I went back to the front desk, they were trying to send the maintenance man back up at 11 o’clock PM. I asked for a new room and they inevitably agreed to move me. After we were moved, the stay was fine. It is a historical building so it’s not brand new and I don’t expect it to be. It’s nice for what it was however, I’m not certain we would stay again. "

"Great location with so much potential, but really run down. The hotel advertises being recently updated but there is a layer of funk to it. The rooms feel just barely clean and the pool and hot tub are gross. "

"Hotel overall is good, the decor and style is lovely, location is perfect. Couple of gripes though the first being woken at 6am each morning due to delivery lorries and noise from other rooms. Second the service in the attached restaurant was not great took an hour for our meal to come amd breakfast was not much quicker! "
