It was away from the hustle and bustle but still close by to the entertainment, shopping and dining options in the area. The views were mesmerising and staff went above and beyond especially Rafah and Aiman who helped us moment we walked through until the time we left.

Staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ All of them were very friendly, reception was very cheerful, gave us friendship bracelets and a room upgrade. Room ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Clean, nice soft and huge king size bed, huge bathtub. Nice sea view from the bed itself. Only complaint was a little lack of shower gel, (cause I also probably used it for a bubble bath) given I didn’t request extra cause I was leaving anyways. Breakfast ⭐️ The food was terrible (but again I’m a picky eater who also happens to be a Penang local) But yes, the beef pastrami tasted like a day old unwashed rag, omelette was very undercooked and under seasoned, the roti canai tasted like cardboard. The French butter was great but couldn’t save most of the food. But I must say the double shot espresso did save the day a little bit. One of the pastry was nice (it was a twist with some fruit jam in it) Fried Rice was bad (I really think they forgot to season all their eggs) Mini pancakes were edible, fried chicken was dry but fragrant. I would skip breakfast the next time and opt for a discount lol. Location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For me I just wanted to get away from all the hustle and bustle so it was very peaceful and quiet. The beach itself was soso but the view from the room is amazing. And the waves really soothe me and had a really good nights rest. Didn’t managed to hit the pool as it was quite rainy and gloomy but it did seemed nice. Overall a good experience, will be back when prices are reasonable and in need of a good nights rest.

This is a large popular hotel with beach access and good facilities. It is popular with families and at some times of the day feels a little “package” holiday with lots of noise from pool areas and very busy breakfast areas BUT it is possible to escape the crowd and find a space to relax. The onsite parking is good and staff are friendly. The rooms are large, clean and well maintained, bathrooms are spotless and views just lovely.

OK hotel for staycation

Realy nice resort hotel butit is far from tourist attrctions. Breakfast has a lot.of variety but the quality was not as strong. Recommend for staycation but visitors new to Penangwould benefit from closer location to Georgetown.

Loved my stay at Angsana. Rooms were clean and well appointed, with everything you expect from a 5 star hotel. My only complaint is that there not much to do/eat nearby, so planning and travel is needed to get to nearby towns.

Nice place to visit for a long weekend break. Nothing is walking distance around the area but Batu Ferringgi is a few mins away by car or public transportation. The hotel should do more to accommodate vegetarian dining options. Overall a nice stay with lovely sea views and comfortable rooms.

During this trip We had been staying The Face Suites and Pullman in KL but Angsana has surpassed them all as it was modern, new, luxurious and an amazingly beautiful seaview. The only point not so perfect was the hotel was so big but the gym was a bit small compared to other 5* hotels. Also it was a bit secluded. It took 40-45 minutes to get to George town. But if anyone wants a peaceful and relaxing holiday then staying at Angsana would be a perfect place

Not meet 5 Start Services

Hotel rate as 5 star but we never feel to be serve like 5 star. Buffet Breakfast - restaurant not able to occupied guest while the night before hotel was service with wedding and foreigner bus trip. We have to queue for long in order to be seat. Table cleaning was not well clean. Asking for child kiddy set which need 3 follow up and requested with different servant to be given. Food was not refill after finished. Buffet Dinner -> servant was not enough to well serve all customers. Our tables was full of used dirty plates and bowls which servant was coming for collection with long wait once. None friendliness serving during whole experience of dinner. Overal Rateing was 3 star to be given.

Fourth time here in two years. Such a nice hotel which is still new, so facilities and amenities are great. Staff are well trained and friendly. Love the ambience too. Looking forward fir my fifth trip already!

We had an awesome stay Our room was cleaned to a great standard by Masum The bed was so comfortable Meals enjoyable Evening entertainment by way of music would elevate the experience Having a photo shoot and limiting paying guests access I thought was unfair
