The Mercantile Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Best breakfast in any hotel on our 11 day Ireland trip, many many choices all tasty. I wouldn't eat dinner there again, though; we did first night and it was expensive, okay but not great, and super loud (due to bar). The room was very small but very smartly designed so a place for everything. Most I've paid for a tiny room, but Dublin extremely expensive (think London and NY). Main reason I recommend: super good location, with easy walking to sites on both sides of river."

"Hotel was fantastic. Our luggage was lost and the staff were extremely helpful and caring. They held our luggage when it finally arrived so we could have it for the remainder of the stay. The hotel is clean, the rooms quiet, comfortable, and the bar, food and breakfast fantastic. It is in a really handy position with the main sites very walkable. Both times our room had lovely river views. Staff fantastic! Totally recommend!!"
