"The property was beautiful and the room was so spacious and the pool was large. My only con is that the on-site food is very expensive, but there are lots of restaurants nearby that are walkable and easy to get to."

"The Marriott Marquis in San Diego is a top-notch hotel. I love staying here, their service is on point when greeted by the valet, to front desk personnel, housekeeping, restaurants personnel, any staff member I ran into to ask a question or directions the ambience the service from the time that you get out of your car."

The place is warm and welcoming. It’s an old school lodge that is in a good condition. It’s clean and well-maintained. Staff was super friendly. Reasonably priced. The only con was that the place was not soundproof, but I felt all the guests at the time were mindful of noise. "
"This is one of the best places to stay in San Diego near the convention center. The hotel is amazing. It has everything you need. It is clean. It is quiet. It has a great bar and multiple dining options. The pool and the upstairs athletic Court and outdoor movies are bonuses. The service when you check in is warm and friendly. Jazzy was the best. She was kind and accommodating, and even explained some of the other services and options to enjoy in San Diego, such as Seaport Village, a bay cruise, bike rental rentals and more. The hotel is completely walkable to the gaslamp district little Italy, and more not to mention if you need an Uber or Lyft, they are easily available and affordable our room was clean and quiet. Again, can’t say enough good things about this hotel."
