"Absolutely amazing, great location, nice and peaceful. Host made sure that me and my friend are happy with everything and she was available if we needed anything. We had a lovely welcome gift ( Prosseco, chocolates and delicious Welsh cakes), the hot tub was warm and ready for us on arrival. About 9 minutes drive to Zipp World, 12 minutes to little town called Betws- y- Coead where you can go for lovely food, walks and explore Beautiful waterfalls. The Royal Victoria Hotel

8/10 Good

"The hotel is in a superb location and the gardens are beautiful. We enjoyed delicious evening meals in the bar and breakfast was good with great views if you managed to get a table in the conservatory. The room was fine with a comfy bed and fabulous Mountain View’s a good selection of tea/coffee. The bathroom was disappointing though, there were rust marks on the wall and bath from the handrail over the bath and the towel rail was very close to the toilet so I think if it had been on you may burn yourself. This would not deter us from staying again but it does make the room appear in need of improvement."

"The property was clean and the room had nice sea views. The rooms are in a converted house next to the Indian restaurant at the site. They are as mentioned in the description accessed via stairs .. quite a few although was offered help with bags. The main negative factor is the location. We arrived and witnessed an altercation on the street in the mid-afternoon with a women punched in the face. The police attended. We looked for other food options but only fish and chips available nearby. which were good but not much choice of eateries near by. We booked for two nights stay but found a better option out of Bangor for the second night. Not a reflection on the accommodation or staff but rather the location."
