Hotels with Views in Franconian Switzerland, Bavaria

"Have stayed multiple times. Can't beat the location to the Festspielhaus, and downtown is a short walk. Small, but good staff and clean. Stays open late so can socialize with other attendees after performances. And AC that works. Right near transportation."

"The staff was the best and most welcoming I have ever encountered. The rooms are very beautifully renovated and very clean. The atmosphere is very peaceful and this won't be the last time we visit this place! "

"Really liked our stay here :)"

"Close to town centre and railway e"

"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It is breathtaking. We loved the cave tour, I would highly recommend it. Unfortunately we only spent one night, so didn’t get to explore much. The breakfast was a simple continental breakfast, but that served our family well. Don’t hesitate to book this place, it was a highlight of our trip!"

"It is a very nice hotel. Stacy room, nice breakfast, shuttle bus to the Ooera plus Prosecco, fruits and sandwiches before departure . Good location. Very nice and helpful staff."

"This is the most delightful country hotel. From the outdoor space to the incredible buffet breakfast and adorable rooms.. one member of our party left something behind and the owner of the hotel kindly called us to let us know so we could go back and pick it up. I would highly recommend this hotel for someone looking for a stay in a lovely village close to Bamberg with restaurants within walking distance"

"Very nice hotel with good food"

"Really helpful staff and perfect location for a stay when traveling by car."

"Clean .friendly helpful staff"

"We had a wonderful room: clean and spacious. The staff is great. Breakfast has to be one of the best...so much to choose from. We have stayed with this hotel a number of times in the past and have never been disappointed."

"We missed the check in time by 2 mins, but someone answered the phone and let us in. We slept on soft beds. Had hot showers, ate a wonderful breakfast and headed on our way. It was great!"

"Nice staff and clean comfortable bed. My wife loved the decor. The issues I have are lack of onsite parking and if booking through Expedia, you don’t get points."

"Everything was perfect. When I asked for a rubber mat for the bath to avoid slipping it was promptly delivered."

"Nice staff, nice room and nice breakfast."

"Amazing little hotel. I would recommend a stay here to anyone. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Located close to downtown Erlangen. "

"Great local hotel with good service."

"This is a great hotel with good location. The only reason for rating the staff low was that there was a self check-in so we didn’t meet the staff. The gym was great and it looked like the laundromat was nice too"

"Nice hotel with air-conditioned, no complaint on a hot summer day."
