When we attempted to check in at this DoubleTree, we were told there was no water on the property , they could not check us in, had not had water since 5:30 am and hoped it would be on by 6:00pm. No guarantees, no help finding another room and no concerns about the situation. The front desk clerks were no help. We had to concel our reservation. Definately not a good experience with DoubleTree Fossil Creek in Fort Worth, TX

Check in was at 3:00pm, room was not ready until 4:05....after being on the road for 4 hours it didn't feel good to have to sit in the lobby and wait for the room to get ready. Then made it to room and the television does turn on. The remote doesn't have batteries. Called the front and she states Batteries are at the front desk but I'd have to come get them because she's by herself. No other staff in the building I assume???? poor service. I will not stay at a DT again....sometimes it's the little things that matter.

I would not recommend this hotel looks can be deceiving the room that we were in was not the room that was booked before booking the room. I called the front desk asking if they have any bathtub rooms that makes it easier for my mom. They said yes upon arrival and entering our assigned room in the corner near the window on the ceiling is a major Waterloo that has happened recently and the wall is splitting everything at this hotel is about nickel and dime you It says free breakfast, but it’s not but the front desk guy that I spoke to in the daytime. His name was Darryl. He had common sense and respect this hotel used to be owned by Holiday Inn which Hilton bought the location out and just did cosmetic makeovers it’s still old and outdated inside not worth the money. It’s a rip off for what they charge And. I want my money back even though I purchased travel plan protection, and the front desk lady said that that’s not possible so respectfully avoid this Hotel at all cost literally.

DO NOT STAY HERE if you are ADA ! If you choose to stay here, these are the things that I encountered in my two nights stay as a disabled woman with a service animal. Be prepared to pay $250 as a deposit for your service animal. Because as I was told, the Hilton is not animal friendly . Be prepared to show proof that your animal is in fact a service animal . Be Prepared to have a small breakdown ! Be prepared if you need to use the elevator, your mobility device may not fit while others are inside, so your wait time may be longer .I was told only one typically works at a time . If the older woman at the front desk and the older gentleman that comes out from the corner of the office, be prepared to be told that you should be grateful and that they are giving you a courtesy to allow allowing you to stay because you have a dog. I was told none of my requests were input into the system after all of this and all this I was placed in a room that would be for visually impaired due to the fact that I was unprepared of the bright floodlight that would invade my room for the next 48 hours. I was unprepared at the floodlight to invade my room at 1:30 in the morning. I was unprepared to be treated with such disrespect. I WAS UNPREPARED AS A DISABLED PERSON TO ENCOUNTER SUCH UGLINESS FROM PEOPLE !!
