"Our first night sleep was interrupted by a broken fire protection pipe setting off the building alarm at 2AM. We stood outside for 1.5hrs. Luckily our room wasn’t one of the rooms that had water damage. We weren’t compensated for our inconvenience. The building is still under repair for some of the amenities. "The property was centrally located to multiple areas we wanted to see. It was quiet and easy to get on and off the property to the main road. There was no beach access but it was very close to the lovers key beach access. Not walkable but an easy drive. You definitely need to have a car. You couldn’t walk to anyplace accept Flippers restaurant, which always had at least an hour wait. "

"Both the staff and resort were wonderful. Very clean place. Staff at the hotel, restaurants and pool were all very sweet and helpful. Would highly recommend this resort for families as the units are spacious, have full kitchens, and an outdoor screened in porch. The only negative was that the beach chairs are not included in the stay. You would need to rent them daily or by the week or get your own beach chairs and umbrellas from a local shop and bring them to the beach. Even with that...
