"Great service "

"At first glance, the Dolphin Key resort seemed Iike an old-time motel that had been updated a bit. Two floors of rooms on the perimeter, surrounding a nice pool area, with a tiki bar on the long side of the pool. There was a slight odd, but not bad, odor in the room, and I wondered what we were getting into. But, once we unpacked and settled in, we found the shower was great, the bed was comfortable, and everything we needed was there...lots of nice touches, plenty of towels, extra toilet paper, 2 wastebasket, maps and reading material, blackout curtains, cube storage shelves, you name it. Our only complaint was the mini-fridge was kind of loud,but once we unplugged it, it was great! We enjoyed the delicious food and drinks at the tiki bar the next day. The lady checking us in was friendly and helpful. We would 100% stay there again!"

"We travel to this area once a month and have stayed at various hotels in Ft. Myers. Howard Johnson's has become our place to stay. Amanda at the front desk friendly and gets us checked in quickly. The room is clean and we're able to park in front of our door."

"Kind of a weird property. The check-in process is conducted over a video terminal, which took 3 tries to create a working key. It was inexpensive, but an overall weird experience."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Ft Myers. We were very busy so didn't get a chance to use most of the amenities. The breakfast had a good variety. We would definitely stay there again."

"We had a girls softball tournament also staying while I was there. Saying they availed the themselves of all hotel amenities would be understatement. The pool area was loaded up & very crowded & gangs of adults, children & teens, had many coolers & created much garbage, & there no seats present at pool to very late in the night (open night had party) so we did not get to enjoy the pool or hot tub. They also had a 'schedule' to keep so the lobby was crowded & although 'good' kids & decent parents..... Traversing the main area & getting breakfast wasn't as polite or orderly as it could have been. The hotel employees kept up tho & still managed to be personable to meeting individual needs. These kids weren't rude or bad at all, it was just a bit overwhelming for those staying that were not involved. "
