Located close to the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, and Everglades National Park. Both parks are real treasures.

I honestly understand now why they call Florida City the Gateway to Paradise. I definitely feel that vibe. It's quite interesting and unique.

It has grown so much over the past 15 years. I remember when there was only 1 reputable hotel near the gate to the keys. Now there are 3-4 choices.

I found the area interesting. By the hotel there were fast food and gas stations but that was the only place for those businesses for miles and miles. It was a nice place

I was born and raised there but left for the military about 35 years ago. I still come back 3 or 4 times a year. It's starting to grow.

Interesting city with many characteristics. Lots of culture with many places to eat and drink.
"Had an excellent stay. Lots to eat within walking distance. Publix across the street. The Metro rail a short walk away. So convenient for dropping our son off at the University! Will definitely book there again!"
"We spent 4 nights at this hotel. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was decent (for American standards) and served from 6:30am so great if you’re up early with a jet lag, pool was clean and warm. I like the whole day coffee option. My only complaint would be the musty smell in the room due to the high humidity, I guess removing the carpets would make a huge difference "
"Check in was quick and easy. Elevator worked fine. Room was clean. AC got cold quickly (we wanted it cold). Beds and pillows comfortable. Linnens super soft. Spacious with desk and chair, plus room for our luggages. Bathroom clean. Dove hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, & bodywash all provided. Housekeeping came daily. All staff friendly and helpful. Coffee & tea available all day. We didn’t eat the breakfast but it smelled great. Eggs, sausage, bacon, breads, cereals, muffins, juices, milks. The pool was clean with pretty pool area. Plenty of parking around building. Fastfood right near hotel. Definitely enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone, including families. "
