"A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” !"

"This B&B was exceptional. The attention to detail was out of this world. It felt almost like staying in a top class hotel. Everything was laid on and Helen was superb in anticipating everthing I needed. And the breakfast - well - no words to describe how great it was. Again the attention to the smallest detail was fantastic. Will certainly stay here again if I'm in the area. Well Done!"

"The room was compact but clean and comfortable; however its position on the ground floor at the front of the hotel meant that the busy road was just a pavement width from the window and the road noise was loud, intrusive and constant. I expect the rooms at the rear of the hotel would offer a quieter experience. The food at the hotel’s restaurant over the road was good quality and value.
