"Amazing stay at the Wyndham Bayside in San Diego. The location couldn’t be better — right on the waterfront and an easy walk to Little Italy, which was perfect for drinks and exploring. We were in town for CRSSD and it was incredibly convenient being so close to the festival. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a great view. The staff were friendly and everything about the stay felt easy and relaxed. If you’re coming to San Diego for CRSSD or just want a great central location, this hotel is a fantastic choice."

"Parking garage was very narrow and difficult to drive in and we had a small suv. Property manager was notified that the sink in room was not draining properly but nothing was done. Room itself was nice and clean. I would stay here again, just be aware of very tight garage a large vehicle may not be able to access."

"Property serves the purpose. Train is a stones throw away and VERY LOUD at 3am! Bring earplugs. Older property, clean enough. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious enough. "

"They charged $100 more than it was showing on hotels.com. Said it is mandatory resort fees. We were given a handicap room which was fine until showering. The floor design completely floods the entire bathroom floor. Front desk staff were rude when we asked about the extra charges. We will not stay here again. I was excited to stay here being a huge rock n roll fan. Very disappointing! "

"The airport shuttle was awful, since despite it being a reason I stayed there, my early flight required me to be picked up for the airport at 3 am, and the shuttle doesn't start until 6 am!!! And the promised front desk wake-up call scheduled at 2:15 am never happened; good thing I set my own alarm. My "free shuttle" turned out to cost me $35 for a cab. The room was average, housekeeping did an OK job of cleaning, and the downtown neighborhood got very sketchy within blocks. It was near the harbor, which was good, and I did get a voucher to tour the USS Midway WWII aircraft carrier. Overall, fair to average. My experience with Marriott this year has been poor; this is the third time I've had problems with a Marriott-owned hotel: (1) on Orange Beach on the Alabama gulf coast where I was in a wedding; an on-line reservation to stay in a Panama City, Panama hotel only to have it not go through on-line; and now this mediocre experience. Hyatt and Hilton, here I come!"
