"Flawless. If you are trying to pick between different hotels, you must absolutely book Park Hyatt right now. The greeting staff are great and the standards of service are worth every penny. From the high tech toilets to the great smelling Bergamonte 32 toiletteries as well as the gorgeous decor, I did not want to leave. I've never had so many tasty cocktails before whether it's on the rooftop bar with an insane view of jakarta, or the other bar by the lobby where you'll be looked after by the amazing Abilio, you'll enjoy the BEST balanced cocktails. The servers are all also super friendly and welcoming and make you feel right at home. The food is also great especially the Japanese restaurant, KITA on the 37th floor of Lil Lian the Chinese restaurant on the 19th floor! The in room dining which is 24/7 is also tasty! There's also several areas to sit and relax that'll keep popping up on you, whether it's the cafe, the bars or the outside seating areas which are 23 floors up, or the rooftop which is 36 floors up, or by the pool? There's just so much to enjoy and luxuriate in. I've stayed in many hotels in my travels and I wish I could stay in this hotel in every city I visit, that's how fantastic it is. "

"While the Grand Hyatt staff is excellent, the location is super central and the food and beverage service at breakfast as well as in the Grand Club lounge is excellent, the fact remains that this is a very noisy hotel. On the one hand, the doors are not sound insulated and one can hear every conversation outside the room at every hour if the day. Since the hotel was recently renovated, this is baffling for a 5 star hotel - and certainly not industry standard. Due to the central location though, there is also quite a bit of road noise - which of course can be expected in central Jakarta. In addition, there are lod music events on weekends in front of the hotel, which usually end by 10:30 pm. Thus, am early nights's sleep is only possible during weekdays. The real problem is the fact that every night around 4 am the calls the noise level from the multitude of mosques nearby does not allow an uninterrupted sleep (at least in my case) since the PAs used by the mosques are very strong and the "sessions" take up to one and a half hours" before one can try to fall asleep again. Combined with the noise from the hallways starting around 7am each day, the , this means very little sleep is had ar night"

"Air condition in my room did not work twice. Took half hours each time to have it fix.the room get very hot without ac and ventilation. I asked if i can have extra free time for extention staying in the room. So i lost about 1 hr with no air condition in the room and got 30 mins free staying in the room for suffering from the heat and the dust while the ac got fixed.Not so generous.i paid the same price for extention and get 30mins free.my flight back is near mid night that is the reason for extending my stay for few hours. Breakfast was ok too. Hotel is Close to Sarinah. Good area to walk along thamrin for exercise"

"The Kempinski Jakarta is a great place to stay. The staff are very professional and make you feel welcome. The facilities are excellent and the breakfast superb. It's very well located with direct access to the Grand Indonesia Mall. It's close the the MRT and to a Transjakarta bus route."
